1. Information you give us
We collect account details you provide, such as your name, email address, and sign-in
information. We also store the content you create in Snaxle, including saved dishes,
diary entries, reactions, notes, uploads, and place memories.
2. How we use data
We use this information to run your account, sync your private food history,
personalize recommendations, generate taste-profile features, respond to support
requests, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Private by default
Diary entries, reactions, notes, and place memories are private to your signed-in
account by default. This launch build does not publish public profiles, public feeds,
or public diary activity.
4. Service providers
We may share data with service providers that help us run Snaxle, such as
authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, and support tooling providers. They may
process data only to provide services for Snaxle or to meet legal obligations.
5. Native app storage and tracking
Snaxle uses HTTPS for app API traffic. On native devices, account tokens are stored
using secure local storage. Browser sessions may require you to sign in again and do
not persist account tokens as durable local app storage.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account-linked data while your account is active. When you request account
deletion, access is removed immediately and we begin deleting account-linked data from
active systems. Backup or operational cleanup may take up to 30 days, or longer if
required by law.
7. Your choices
You can update your account name in the app, sign out, request password resets, and
delete your account from Account > Delete Account. You can also contact
support@snaxle.app about access, correction,
or deletion requests.
8. Contact
Questions about privacy or data handling can be sent to
support@snaxle.app. If laws in your region
give you additional privacy rights, you can use that same contact address to reach us.
